Fox News

They're deeply entrenched in the Fair and Balanced identity.

But they're not. Not any more than anyone else.

It can be seen in their demeanor about and towards Democrats. The difference between how they speak to Republicans, respectfully, and about Democrats, with derision. is glaringly obvious.

They never make jokes about Republicans. They often make jokes about Democrats.

For them to criticize main stream media for a left lean is interesting as they show a right lean inclination.

But they won't see that. They insist on being the only right ones. Best of the best.

Everyone has bias. It's how we navigate the world.

The problem is when we deny it even to ourselves. That's where hypocracy charges come in.

It's perfectly fine to be on the right. It's not perfectly fine for news, when claiming traditional journalism of just reporting, to insist they're being fair. They're not fair. They're human. They're not any better than mainstream media.

When they disagree with the right, it's always respectful. The only remarks they make about the left are about the obvious problem liberals and is always with disgust.

But they don't name the problem conservatives or disagree with them strongly if at all. It's hard to see your own side for what it is, and competetition being what it is, both sides want to win so you don't talk your own down.

And tend to be more accepting of the fringes like the Democrats are accepting of the Daily Cos. They have to be, don't they. I'll have to check out that stupid site.
