oh, ya

Falstaff. Well, the connection is comedy. Shakespear was on of the best comic minds ever born.

Falstaff started out as a wise, avuncular adisor the Prince Hal. Later he turned into a drunken baffoon (as best as I recall from reading it all those years ago).

Kelsey Gramar has done Shakespear.
Cheers anyone?

The English have generally done some of the best comedy overall.

Stewart Varney's English.

Good comedy is Shakespear for the modern day. Takes genus to write and perform. Much harder than drama and tragedy.

It's my personal favorite, so I'm happily biased in its favor.

Although I suppose one could make a Bush connection to Falstaff, it wouldn't be nice.

The same thing happened with Robin Hood. He started out as a character battling Bad King John, brother of Richard the Lionheart who wasn't so swell it turns out, but over the years turned into buffoon in the stories.

There's nothing new under the sun, what goes around comes around, there's really only 3 plots: Man against man, man against nature and man against himself.

People are more alike than they are different -- Maya Angelou.

People keep trying to tell us.

So start listening Republicans and Democrats.

All we have is each other and this one earth.
