Stanley Kurtz

Just on Fox and Friends. Said Obama still supports Acorn and the Aires community activism stuff and that it'll largely influence his administration.

Here's where it gets tricky. Does he? Is Stanley to be believed? I haven't heard Obama say anything about any of this stuff, so I don't know where he stands.

Lots of people have supported things only to find out later there was something wrong. Charities, for example. Often people find out that their contributions aren't being funneled to the needy, but go the the administrators. Much like AIG.

What are the details on the Acorn/Obama stuff? Have to wait and see what Obama has to say about it if anything. He needs to reject this stuff if he wants to lead this country. It's only possible from the middle. Bush is too right wing to succeed. McCain used to be more moderate, but adoped the right wing for the election.

Obama really needs to speak to the country about this stuff and where he stands. He tends to be very careful in his answers. He's a lawyer and that their training. But now's the time he really needs to be clear and straightforward.

I understand he sees things from the oppresseds' point of view. He would. But he needs to see past that to be a leader for all. It's not easy. Women see the female oppressed point of view. It's just natural. Oprah and Bill Cosby know that point of view very well, but they work around and past it and don't use it against whites. It doesn't get anybody anywhere, just maintains the walls and conflict.

We'll see what Obama's made of. It's pretty irrevelant what he did in college. He graduated and didn't end up in jail.
