And now for the imortant stuff

Chickens in the Road. Suzanne McMinn's blog. The last couple of week = CHICKENS. Real baby chickens. Hatching, running around, falling asleep. Like all babies, dead to the world. Sweet. But the best part? The miracle chick. The incubator got too hot one day and she thought she'd lost all the eggs. She kept them, hoping against hope {what the heck does that expression mean? what's hope against hope? see? English makes no sense most of the time} And just as she was taking the eggs out to dispose of them...there was one hatching! One survived and was soon joined by 10 chicks from the second batch of eggs. A miracle. Sweet and wonderful. I love chickens. Yes, I do, love to eat them, too.
