I heard a funny thing. Remember the federal refunds Bush gave to stimulate the econom? Some business/stock guy griped that people went out and spent them on big tvs made in foreign lands.
What? Doesn't shopping stimulate the economy? What were people supposed to spend the checks on? And, they want this global economy with American companies using foreign facotories. Most of the things in stores are imported. Doesn't buying a foreign made tv here help the store that sells them? If you want American made, you've gotta have companies making things in the country. But they don't. And won't.
What they ought to do is reorganize ALL of these loans, for people who are paying and for those not paying but could at lower rates. They're all stinking immoral mortages. Cavuto was just talking about the 90% who are paying not getting any part of the bail out. The people who are paying are so financially stressed they're barely hanging on, lots of them. Why not de-stress everybody? Too liberal an idea? I don't know, cause I really don't know the situtation. But I do know that people do not like to see others get something they don't. It's not fair. Life never is fair.
People like to think they got something others didn't get. That's fair.
