a bit of McCain's speach today. He told the same Obama's measuring the drapes joke I've several times in the last few days. His wife laugh like it was new to her.
I bet it's a tough job to be a politician's wife. They have to be dedicated to their mate and a source of endless energy and suport and encouragement.
I really admire them. And wouldn't do it in a million years for a million dollars. Political spouses are priceless, aren't they.
The sacrifice. Their lives are totally taken over by the politician's life. Or a lot of it for sure. Not sure that all the husbands of politican wives give up jobs, etc. The women mostly seem to, but I'm uninformed on the matter...only know of a few couples. huh.
No, I wouldn't want to do that.
